Sony Pulse 3D Wireless Headset Pros

1: Lightweight

If you’ve ever worn a pair of over-ear headphones while playing your Playstation or Xbox 360. You know how heavy they can be. This headset is much lighter than other models, weighing in at 9 ounces. It feels extremely lightweight when you put them on. And it’s nice because you don’t even notice you’re wearing them!

2: Wireless

No more annoying cables to get in the way of gaming action! When you buy this headset, Sony includes the Pulse Wireless Transmitter so you don’t have to worry about where your controller is. The transmitter can be placed on top of your television or anywhere else within range for easy access.

3: Comfortable

This is a pro that most people overlook. Do you get frustrated easily because your headset makes your ears sore? The headband on the Sony Pulse 3D Wireless Headset is made of a comfortable material. So there’s no chance of having ear pain while playing games.

Sony Pulse 3D Wireless Headset Cons

1: Pricey

This headset may not be for everyone. It currently sells for about $80. While it’s a great price, not everyone can afford to spend that much. It sounds like a lot, but if you’re looking for something to last through the years and with the features listed below, this may be your best bet!

2: Charge Time

With some products, we can be a little more forgiving when it comes to charging time. This isn’t one of those times. It takes about 4 hours to fully charge your headset. That’s a long time if you’re someone who is impatient and enjoys playing games all day!

3: Lightweight Design

Many gamers love a sturdy pair of headphones. And if you’re one of them, this might not be the model for you. Although they are lightweight. Don’t roll off your head easily, or have the option of turning the volume up on each side individually. Some gamers still may want something with a little more durability on it.

These are the pros and cons of the Sony Pulse 3D Wireless Headset. A product that is best suited for casual gamers or people who are always on the go. If you’re looking to buy wireless headphones for your Play station 5, this might be a good option!

I love the sony pulse 3d wireless headphones. I thought they would be really heavy on my head but I was surprised to feel how light they were when I had them on. The sound is amazing and it feels like your in a movie theatre! I also love that there not connected by a cord cause you don't have to worry about tripping over it. If you ever use regular headphones on your ps5 you know how annoying it is to have them connected by a cord.

I bought these somewhat reluctantly since I am very fond of my (wired) Sony headset that came with PS5 (DualShock works great with this headset), but the wired one was causing my sound to lag and often gave me headaches because the wire would bounce annoyingly when I moved. The wireless headset is an absolute delight! It has cut-out free working on both voice chat and game sounds, there isn't even a hint of lag on either side, no more headaches...I can't think of anything to complain about. It is certainly worth the money, especially for someone like me who was getting headaches because of the wired headset.

People’s reviews were pretty positive about Sony PULSE 3D Wireless Headset. The biggest complaint that people made was that it can be annoying to charge this headset for 4 hours. But that if you have that in mind, then it’s no problem. For the price, this is a good headset to buy!

The design of the Sony PULSE 3D Wireless Headset is impressive, featuring bold lines and a sturdy build it. It features padded earpieces, an adjustable headband, and a retractable microphone. The biggest perk to this headset is the fact that it can be used wireless, but the battery only lasts for 8 hours. This could be a deal-breaker for some people who use their headsets often and have short gaming sessions often. However, if you are willing to sacrifice portability for sound quality, then these are the headsets for you. Here Sony giving some offer on this product.

Frequently Asked Question:

Yes!  You can adjust them to your head size and they are very light, so they shouldn’t strain the muscles in your neck.

Yes! They are made of sturdy plastic, but I would be careful with them. Sony claims that they will hold up to your “careless handling” and the user manual advises the user not to leave them outside in freezing temperatures or you could damage the internal components.

It says 8-hours battery life, so it seems like you aren’t going to be too far from a charger. Can I use them to listen to music? Yes. They do come with a cord that allows you to plug them into whatever device you want and enjoy music or movies privately.

You can’t expect true surround sound in a wireless headset, but Sony has done its best to compensate for this by having the “Digital Noise Cancellation” feature.  I’d recommend plugging these into a surround sound system to get the best possible experience, but this headset does come with 2 speakers inside each earpiece.

Yes, but only if you’re using the wired and what you want to do is play music.  I confirmed this with Sony and they mentioned that the headset’s microphone isn’t compatible with computer headsets, but you can hook them up to your PC and listen to music or watch a movie.

They have 7.1 virtual surround sound technology so I’m pretty sure you’ll be fine.  The only thing I would keep in mind is if your opponent is using a mic, you probably won’t be able to hear as well as if they were using a separate microphone.

It would be easy to just say “buy” or “don’t buy.” But when it comes to something like PlayStation headsets. People are different and have individual preferences. It’s important to buy something that you feel comfortable with. And from the reviews made about Sony PULSE 3D Wireless Headset. It looks like it will be a good fit for gamers who are looking for a high-quality product to use on their PlayStation console!
